Archie Horton

Born in the USA a long, long time ago in Hermleigh, Texas, Archie graduated Richmond Union High School and then joined the joined the U.S. Air Force for four years and worked as a weather observer. Archie attended the Academy of Art in San Francisco for four years.

After those achievements, Archie worked for twenty-four years as a member of the small art group at PG&E's Head Offices in San Francisco. He retired to Sonoma in 1988 and moved to Glen Ellen in 1994. Archie paints in oils, acrylics, water color, and alkyds. He enjoys painting seascapes, lighthouses, old barns, houses and portraits.
